氫化丁腈T型圈-James walker teesele
Teesele is capable of operating in a dynamic mode, whereas Springsele is recommended for static duties only and is capable of sealing under higher pressures with larger extrusion gaps.
Both seal types are double acting, and will effectively seal arrangements that are subjected to:
_ Extremes of pressure/temperature.
_ Attack by oilfield media where an ‘O’ ring cannot survive the maintenance free life cycle of the equipment.
James walker Springsele & Teesele Materials:
The standard elastomers used for both Springsele and Teesele are:
Elast-O-Lion 101 – Hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR/HSN). This elastomer provides high mechanical strength and wearresistant properties. It has good resistance to many oilfield chemicals including H2S and amine corrosion
inhibitors. It is also resistant to explosive decompression and is approved to many ED specifications.
The materials of construction dictate temperature capability in air, as follows:
Min operating temp: –10°F (–24°C)
Max operating temp: +320°F (+160°C)
Note: short excursions to +350°F
(+178°C) can be sustained.
FR58/90 — Fluoroelastomer: Viton B (FKM). This has excellent chemical and thermal properties, and is ED resistant in hydrocarbon applications. It is approved and specified by many oil producers and equipment manufacturers.
The materials of construction dictate temperature capability in air, as follows:
Min operating temp: Min operating temp: +15°F (–10°C)
Max operating temp: +410°F (+210°C)
James walker Springsele & Teesele Typical applications:
These seals are used for many oil and gas duties, including:
_ Down-hole
_ Wellhead
_ Surface equipment
_ Valves and high-pressure pipelines –especially where the use of ‘O’ rings is precluded.
Both Springsele and Teesele can be:
_ Fitted at original equipment stage.
_ Retrofitted in any existing housing
designed for ‘O’ rings with back-up
rings.
_ Custom designed and manufactured to fit non-standard housings.
